Terms of Service

Last updated: September 21, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SpendKeep ("the Service"), operated by SpendKeep ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

SpendKeep is a household money-management application available on the web, with an Android application being prepared for public distribution. It supports transaction tracking, categories, household members, budgets, a savings objective, recurring income, reports, currencies, localization, imports, exports, and account or data controls.

Features may differ by client or change as the Service develops. We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features when reasonably necessary.

2. Accounts and access

You are responsible for information submitted through your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity performed through your account. Contact us promptly if you believe the account has been accessed without authorization.

Authentication may be provided through a password or Google sign-in. Your use of a third-party sign-in method is also subject to that provider's terms.

3. Households and other people

Household features may let you invite app users, create tracked members, and attribute transactions or benefits to household members. Only provide another person's information when you are authorized to do so, and use shared household information respectfully.

Household owners and members are responsible for the accuracy of the records they create and for deciding how the household uses the information shown by SpendKeep.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

  • Access or attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization.
  • Interfere with, overload, probe, or bypass the security of the Service.
  • Use the Service to violate applicable law or another person's rights.
  • Upload malicious content or use automated means that disrupt normal operation.

5. Not financial advice

SpendKeep organizes information supplied by users and presents calculations and reports based on that information. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. You remain responsible for checking records and deciding how to act on them.

6. Current availability and future plans

SpendKeep is currently available as a free offering. Premium Monthly and Premium Annual are described as coming soon, but no price, entitlement, release date, paid subscription, or checkout is currently offered or promised.

If paid services are introduced, applicable pricing and additional purchase terms will be presented before a user makes a purchase.

7. Data and privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how SpendKeep handles information. Available controls include data-export requests, deletion of SpendKeep-specific data, and full-account deletion.

You should keep your own copies of information that you need. Export and deletion operations may be irreversible once completed.

8. Availability and warranties

We work to keep the Service useful and available, but it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free calculations, permanent availability of any feature, or that the Service will meet every purpose.

9. Responsibility and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SpendKeep is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using SpendKeep and use the available deletion flows. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements, or material violations of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.

12. Contact
